Iconic landmarks like the Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, Dakshineswar Temple, and the artistic vibe of Kumartuli make it a cultural hotspot. Whether it’s the soulful landscapes of Mizoram, the royal aura of Tripura, or the intellectual and cultural richness of Kolkata, this journey through Northeast and East India promises a unique and unforgettable experience.

Day 1( 8 NIGHT 9 DAYS )

Agartala (2 Nights)

Tour guests will arrive at Agartala Airport as per their scheduled flight. Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will meet these guests at the airport and guide them with airport formalities and lead the way into the city.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own at the first destination as per the information and guidance given by the Veena World Travel consultant.
J&L guests should book their to and fro air tickets as per the arrival and departure time of the scheduled tour flight to get the airport transfers with the group.
In case of early arrival or early departure the transfer charges to reach the designated place or hotel will be borne by the J&L guests.

Today we visit the beautiful Ujjayanta Palace – a former royal residence of the Kingdom of Tripura, built in the Indo-Saracenic style, now converted into a museum showcasing the cultural heritage of the state.
In the evening, we enjoy a short Meet & Greet session with all our travel companions and get ready for the exciting days ahead.

Agartala

Today we explore the cultural gems of Agartala. We begin with a visit to the stunning Neermahal Palace – a magnificent water palace built in the middle of Lake Rudrasagar, once the summer residence of the royals.
Later, we visit the sacred Tripura Sundari Temple – one of the 51 Shakti Peethas and an important pilgrimage site.
In the evening, we witness the unique flag down parade ceremony at the India-Bangladesh border – a patriotic moment filled with pride and spirit.

Agartala – Unakoti – Silchar (1 Night)

Today we proceed to Silchar – the second-largest city of Assam, surrounded by tea gardens and hills.
En route, we visit Unakoti – an extraordinary archaeological site dating back to the 7th–9th centuries, famous for its massive rock-cut sculptures and intricate carvings.
As per mythology, Lord Shiva turned a crore gods and goddesses into stone here after they failed to wake up for their journey to Kashi. The site features grand depictions of Nandi Bull, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ram, and more.

Silchar – Aizawl (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Aizawl – the picturesque capital of Mizoram, nestled in the hills. Upon arrival, we visit the Aizawl Zoo – home to rare and endemic animals of the northeast.

Aizawl

Today we explore the beautiful city of Aizawl. We visit Mizoram State Museum which accommodates several items that unravel the cultural heritage of the state and the grand Solomon’s Temple – an architectural wonder and one of the most iconic churches in Mizoram. Its design and peaceful ambience make it a must-visit landmark.
Later, we have free time to explore the local markets.

Aizawl – Kolkata (3 Nights)

Today we board a flight from Aizawl to Kolkata – the City of Joy. Upon arrival, we head out to explore some iconic landmarks of Kolkata. We visit the Kalighat Temple, Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Indian Museum, Mother Teresa House, and St. Paul’s Cathedral Church – each reflecting the diverse spirit of Kolkata.

Today we proceed to visit Belur Math – the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission, followed by Dakshineswar Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali. Later we visit the unique Eco Park – one of the largest urban parks in India offering beautiful landscapes, sculptures, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Kolkata – Gangasagar – Kolkata

Kolkata – Gangasagar – Kolkata

Today we head out for an excursion to Gangasagar – the confluence of River Ganga and the Bay of Bengal. It is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots for Hindus. Here we visit Kapil Muni Ashram, one of the five major sacred pilgrimage sites known as “Punya Dhams.”
In the evening, we return to Kolkata.

If not then, any transfer charges to reach their respective airport, cruise, rail, or bus terminal will be borne by the J&L guests.
